Job Description

Rutherford Briant are exclusively recruiting for a Recruitment Manager position based in Chelmsford.The role is for a growing, well established business.This is a newly created position which will be instrumental in developing internal recruitment policies and procedures and embedding good practice into the business. The focus is on the development of excellent recruitment practice rather than actually sourcing and directly recruiting for roles.Duties include:

  • Develop a start to finish hands on recruitment process for all business areas through the centralisation recruitment activity. This is purely a recruitment support role not a recruiter/or headhunter.
  • Provide support to Recruiting Managers - Job Descriptions, Person Specifications, Advertising, Agency Management, CV Management & Screening, Coordination of Interviews, supporting Managers with interviewing where needed, providing feedback to candidates.
  • Design and provision of recruitment tools - JD, Adverts, Interview Structures
  • Regular vacancy reporting - Vacancy Progress Status, KPI’s, Internal Vacancy Listing, Cost Benefit of Attraction Methods etc
  • Liaising with agencies, job boards to agree terms and conditions.
  • Exploring other avenues of resource such as colleges, universities etc
  • Introduce and develop a recruitment system, to be used centrally.
  • The position would suit either an experienced in-house Recruitment manager with a strong track record of developing systems and procedures, or a high calibre agency recruiter looking to develop their career in a new direction.
