As a Mail Sorter, you will be an integral part of our team, working to ensure the smooth sorting and delivery of mail and parcels. You do not need prior experience with us; we welcome newcomers! However, if you have previous experience in a warehouse orsorting environment, that is a bonus.Shift Patterns & Pay:AM: 06:00 - 10:00 / 10:00 - 14:00, paying £14.59 per hour.PM: 17:00 - 06:30, paying £15.92 per hour.Nights: 01:00 - 06:00 paying £17.10 per hour.Overtime: Flat RateBank Holiday: £21.87 per hourResponsibilities:Unloading mail and parcelsSafely moving items through our warehouseEnsuring that deliveries reach their destinations securely.During a single shift, our team can sort over a million items, highlighting the importance of your role. Flexibility, commitment, and enthusiasm are key to success in this position.Our Ideal Candidate:Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Is proactive and detail focused.Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to switch between various tasks during a shift.Can comfortably handle trolleys (up to 25kg) and lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg)Can stand for extended periods.Important Information:Applicants must be 18 years or older to work night shifts at this location.This role requires Pertemps to conduct extensive referencing on your last 5 years in the UK.If you are a motivated and dedicated individual looking to be part of a vital process, we encourage you to apply for this Mail Sorter position.
