Job Description

Environmental Fate and Metabolism Analyst - New GraduateReed Scientific are currently working with a visionary organization with nearly 80 years R&D experience in the complex field of Crop ProtectionThey provide innovative & sustainable scientific solution-based services to the agrochemical and related industriesAn exciting opportunity exists for a new graduate to join a highly regarded and successful research team in their purpose-built, state of the art facilities based in Chelmsford, EssexThis expanding team conduct environmental fate and metabolism studies required prior to chemical products (pesticides, pharmaceuticals & industrial chemicals) being approved for saleI am looking for a new graduate with a BSc in Chemistry or Environmental Science for this varied and challenging roleYou must also demonstrate the following:

  • An interest in building a career in a scientific environment
  • Excellent organisational and record keeping skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate scientific information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in the use of Word & Excel
  • An affinity for working as part of a laboratory-based team
In return the successful candidate will receive:
  • Salary £20,000 - £23,000
