Environmental Safety SpecialistA global organisation delivering the latest technology solutions to combat cybercrime and implementing ground-breaking digital transformations with crucial software is looking to hire an Environmental Safety Specialist to join their team.As Environmental Safety Specialist, your main responsibilities will involve identifying, researching, and monitoring existing environmental and other related legislation as well as emerging legislation that has the potential to impact on Environmental Safety. Youll be responding to enquiries arising from legislation pertinent to product environmental safety. Other responsibilities will include preparing product safety alerts, preparing and publishing periodical newsletter detailing relevant environmental safety matters, liaising with UK Government Environmental Agencies (e.g. DEFRA, BEIS, Environmental Agency). Youll also be preparing environmental and technical reports and process specifications and other product documentation. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of product-related environmental legislation (eg. REACH, RoHS, EU Conflict Minerals Regulation, CE marking/UKCA marking Directives). Were looking for an Environmental Safety Specialist who is able to work using their own initiative and able to make decisions on their own.
