Job Description

Domiciliary Care Assistants Who are we:TLTP Care is recruiting for a professional carer to support our CQC registered agency based in Hainault. We are looking to employ the very best who have passion and truly want to make a possible difference to the life of vulnerable service users living in Chelmsford. As a Domiciliary Care Assistants your duties are:It is required by Care Assistants to provide great quality domiciliary home care support to service users living in their own homes.To provide person centred careTo deliver care to service users as directed by care planTo record client’s care notesTo provide personal care to service users whilst respecting their privacy and dignityTo provide assistance with meal times (i.e. food preparation)To provide general house-keeping duties (i.e. laundry)To prompt medicationTo observe and report any changes in the service user’s care needs To accompany the clients to appointments, trips out and social activitiesTo provide companionship to prevent lonelinessTo assist with shoppingTo promote client’s rights, choice, independence, individuality, privacy and dignityRequired qualifications and experience:Care experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.Be qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferable)Hold a full driving license and own transport (Preferable)Committed to maintain very high standards of carePunctual and excellent time management skillsExcellent communication skillsReliable, adaptable and flexible working attitudeCompassionate and understandingTo work with a wide array of service usersAs a Care company we can offer you range of benefits:A supportive environment with an experienced point of contact available around the clockFlexible working hoursFree uniform Paid mileageExcellent progression programmeOnline (initial) interviewFull induction and ongoing supportFree online trainingSupport with DBS CertificateCompetitive pay rates from £10.50 to £13.50 via UmbrellaIf you are dedicated and passionate about providing truly person-centred care and support to service users, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference as a carer.
