Job Description

Commercial Gas Engineer – £14.50 per hour + overtime – South-East of EnglandThe RoleAre you an experienced Gas Engineer looking for the next step in your career A “One-Stop-Shop” for heating, mechanical, building, decommissioning, and gas services for the industrial and commercial sector is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer.Working as part of the call out rota, the successful candidate will conduct planned and reactive maintenance in commercial and industrial buildings and schools.The key responsibilities of a Commercial Gas Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out installation works including pipe fitting.
  • Undertaking gas and heating servicing, working with heating systems, ventilation and domestic water systems and controls.
  • Fault finding and repairs of various gas and heating systems.

    • The PersonThe key skills and qualities of a Commercial Gas Engineer include:
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment.
  • Mechanically competent with heating systems, ventilation and domestic water systems and controls.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
  • Qualifications: COCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1, Vented and unvented hot water UHW10.
  • CSCS Card, Gas Safe Registered, First Aid training.
  • UK Driving Licence with 6 points or less, DBS check will be required.
