Job Description

AJ Chambers have recently partnered with a reputable accountancy practice based in Chelmsford who are actively searching for audit/accounts professionals to contribute to the continued success of the firm as part of a friendly and growing team.This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio that can offer hands on experience to interesting client work and projects. My client is also renowned for their outstanding office culture and high-quality training.Responsibilities:

  • Attend and assist with audits, including planning, fieldwork, and stock take.
  • prepare analysis of accounting data from the clients records.
  • Preparation of forecasts.
  • Year-end statutory accounts preparation.
  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies.
  • Establish rapport and trust with clients, initiating the billing process and providing analysis and summaries with explanations for variances.
