As an account manager, no two days are the same but youll spend most of your time visiting our customers, wherever theyre busy working, to find out how we can help them. Youcould find yourself on construction sites or in offices and warehouses. You need to be happy to get your hands dirty but also be able to adapt your approach to the customer in front of youit could be a senior management team one day and a sole trader thenext.Ours is a model of professional consultative selling, and its a really hands-on job. It means rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, along with all the services and after-care that come with the Hilti name.Far from traditional cold calling, its about nurturing relationships and developing contacts on site with warm customers and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.Youll be managing your own timeyour van is your office and youll be responsible for setting your own diary to ensure youre visiting your customers when they need you so you need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously. Youll be partof a supportive, field-based regional team who are only a phone call away but youll be working by yourself on the whole, so you need to be comfortable with building relationships remotely and motivating yourself.Well teach you everything you need to know about our products, the IT systems youll use on the job and advanced sales skillsyou just need to be motivated to learn.What do we offerWe really value our people and weve worked hard to develop a competitive reward package that reflects this.   • Customer-facing experience gained in any industry (sales experience preferred but not essential), or a degree in any discipline and a desire to build a career in sales
  • Mature, assertive and committed to your career development with good communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate that youre a flexible team player with a hunger to learn
  • Resilience and adaptability to environments such construction sites and also residential site developments
  • Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce is desirable but not essential
  • A full, clean, manual driving license
