Job Description

Headteacher (SEN) - Brookways School, LondonSalary circa £70,000 per annumStarting Jan 2021This exciting opportunity due to commence in Jan 2021 has become available upon the retirement of the current Headteacher.Rated Good with Outstanding features in our most recent Ofsted report, Brookways School is part of the Kedleston Group and opened in early 2018. The school is located in North Cheam - London.Brookways is an independent specialist day school offering support for young people with an autism spectrum condition in a state-of-the-art learning environment which has been specially designed to meet their needs. The school offers places for young people aged between 7 and 16.The school provides a safe learning environment for pupils with autism (ASC), mainly Aspergers Syndrome and higher functioning autism, who also experience challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and pathological demand avoidance (PDA).We are looking for a Headteacher who is resilient, innovative and who will lead by example to develop and deliver their vision for the highest standard of autism education provision. As well as an ardent advocate for our children and young people, you will be highly experienced in working with children with SEN and leading, supporting and developing teams to succeed.
