Job Description

Accounts AssistantFull TimePermanent role - Monday to FridaySalary: £23,000 to £24,000 p.aA fantastic opportunity has arrived as my client is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated accounts assistant.

  • The role comprises data entry, processing and recording transactions, supplier reconciliations, supplier payments, sales invoicing along with general accounting tasks as requested.
  • Analyse financial information in order to identify discrepancies, research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion.
  • Generate weekly reports.
  • Carry out monthly Payroll to include Auto Enrolment pension scheme.
  • Handling communications in a professional manner at all levels via telephone, email and in person.
  • Accounting package utilised are QuickBooks.
  • MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel and Word) required.
  • The ideal applicant should be thorough, organised, accurate and honest with good book keeping skills.
  • Should have good math skills.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • AAT Qualified (Happy to look at anyone working through their AAT as well)
  • 28 days annual leave (inc. Bank Holidays) pro rata dependant on hours worked and a pension scheme.
