All Successful applicants will undertake stringent recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS.About YouAn established finance professional, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a proven track record of finance operations and management accounts preparation. You will be approachable, professional and confident, having excellent communication skills and the know how to develop strong working relationships and effectively discuss financial matters with non-financial staff.   • Management AccountantThis is a new role within our busy, friendly Central Services Finance Department. A flexible approach is essential as you may be required to assist with other priority tasks within our finance function and may be expected to deputise for senior colleagues. A strong work ethic and commitment to the Trust’s values and charitable aims is essential.The post is based in our offices in Cheadle (currently temporarily working from home). This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week, but applicants seeking part-time and flexible hours (min 30 per week) may be considered.The role will involve:
  • Leading and managing a small team of staff to achieve outstanding results
  • Maintaining accurate transactional financial records
  • Delivering monthly management accounts for the Trust and all its budget holders in a timely manner
  • Delivering financial information for the Fundraising and Central Services departments.
  • Taking a leading role in the budgeting and forecasting processes supporting Fundraising and Central Services budget holders.
  • Playing a significant role in the transformation of business processes associated with financial operations of the Trust
  • Producing reports and data for senior management
