Here at Prospero we are searching for a candidates that have experience of the healthcare sector.Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Healthcare Assistant, passionate about providing high levels of care and support to individuals with profound medical needs Are you supportive and compassionate and comfortable dealing with very high-needs patientsWe are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to work on a rota basis for the next 2-3 months. The individual should have great communication skills, and a passion for working with individuals with severe medical needs and profound learning difficulties.This Healthcare Assistant role involves providing support within a college environment providing education and life skills to profound and medical needs.There are ongoing days shifts and school hours available with block bookings as well as ad-hoc shifts.The Healthcare Assistants typical shift could involve:* Assisting with observations.* Completing observations when patients are sleeping.* Food preparation for lunch & snacks* Having 121 time to talk with the patients* Supporting patients with getting ready- dressing* Free Training Available* Working for a committed, supportive and experienced Manager who offers an open-door policy at all times to help resolve any challenges.* Always a nurse available for additional support.* Always being on shift with a permanent member of staff who is an expert on the patients they look after* Excellent written and verbal communication* Experience working with patients who display challenging behaviours.Please contact Gabby at Prospero for more information Required skills
