Here at Seashell Trust we provide education and care for children and young adults with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties/disabilities, sensory impairments, communication disorders and autism.We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse or Allied Health Professional who is passionate about upskilling the broader workforce to ensure a high quality service is provided to all of our children and young people.Following the Trust’s recent planning permission we have ambitious plans to develop early assessment and intervention services for children with complex needs. We are looking to build our workforce to enable us to grow our innovative health services. Seashell’s strategic plan places strong emphasis on development of innovative health services and inclusive sports. Plans are currently being finalised for state of the art sports facilities along with specialist therapy resources including a new Hydrotherapy Pool and rebound therapy suite.The successful candidate will be able to design and deliver high quality training and competency checking. This will include leading on the workforce development plan for clinical training for staff working across our education and residential settings. You will be working alongside other Therapy and Nursing Leads to ensure clinical governance agendas are developed and maintained across the service. Strong collaborative working with our Learning and Development department will also be required to support the Trust wide agendas relating to L and D.We are looking for an adaptable individual with a strong grasp of how digital innovations can be used to increase efficiency of training programmes.
