International homeware business.Reporting to the Directors, and with an expectation that the successful person will grow within the business, the Senior Marketing Executive will take full responsibility for UK and International marketing strategy, marketing innovation, creating measurable marketing plans and goals, managing a significant budget, and ensuring delivery with the support of the team and external resource. Activity will focus on attracting retail clients, providing retail clients with marketing support and materials, and targeting ecommerce consumers online. Typical actives include but are not limited to- Trade shows and events- PR and Social Media- Digital marketing, marketplace, and extended online engagement- Sales support collateral, both print and digital- Printed literature and instore POSThis role may suit Marketing or Senior Marketing Exec, or similar level candidates with experience in Retail Marketing, Trade Marketing, or Distributor Marketing, with some or all of the following- Demonstrable experience of developing commercially focussed marketing strategies and plans- Natural problem solver, able to identify new opportunities.- Ability to engage and inspire those around you, leading and training direct reports, helping to create a shared vision.- Strengths in campaign performance analysis, discovering insights that help to shape future marketing activity, and reporting to senior management or board level stakeholders- Ability to consider and evolve company and client processes to improve sales- 5+ years relevant experience, ideally in a similar business or marketing approach- Associated industry and platform qualification / accreditation / certificationThe Senior Marketing Exec will be joining a company with an impressive history and an enviable list of well known retail clients.
