Weve partnered with £25m turnover family owned manufacturer with a global presence who are on the hunt for an experienced senior Finance Manager. Reporting into the UK General Manager but with a dotted line into the Group Finance Director in the US, theFinance Manager will lead a team of two and take the lead on all finance matters across operations within the UK and Luxembourg.Key responsibilities:* Leadership of the finance function to support all stakeholders and meet their needs.* Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries.* Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations.* Assist with year-end statutory audit and assist with global company requirements.* Implement improvements and automate internal processes to drive efficiency and ensure accuracy of information.* Work with HMRC and oversee annual filings, produce, and submit quarterly VAT returns.* Manage capital expenditure.* Manage a small team, including day to day communication and motivation.* Ad-hoc project work where required.Skills and Experience required * ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with gravitas and the ability to operate at a senior level. * Proven experience of managing, leading, motivating and developing a small team* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.* Experience of preparing VAT submissions* Strong analytical mind, excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.£55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
