Job Description

Compliance Specialist Manchester £35,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance Our partner is one of the UKs leading businesses in Vacant Property Security Solutions, they are looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist to join their growing operation.The opportunity is communication-heavy and requires frequent verbal and written communication with others, including training, coaching, and influencing Divisional Management to drive a continuous improvement in policies, processes and procedures is thereforea core role requirement.They are an innovative business and are implementing some fantastic changes to empower their colleagues, create a companywide togetherness and grow.What to expect:

  • Successfully deliver the bulk of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Manage and maintain company quality process with department owners ensuring they areeffective and compliant with the requirements of the scopes
  • Maintain and manage the various Business units Integrated management system
  • Make recommendations to streamline or enhance the performance or efficiency of thebusiness.
  • Undertake gap analysis and deliver changes in line with Risk & Control Framework
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant regulatory initiatives, rules, guidance, insight,and current thinkingparticularly ISO and security industry standards
  • Maintaining a positive company culturecompliance is a business enabler
  • Engaging with and influencing key stakeholders within the divisional branches/business unitsto build and maintain a strong compliance culture
  • Support the effective integration of new business units, including their compliancerequirements
  • Carry out additional ad-hoc tasks or projects as may be required by the Group Head ofInternal Audit, Risk Management & Compliance from time-to-time.
What are we looking for:
  • Bi-lingual fluency in English and French is highly desirable. Knowledge of Dutch or Spanish is also advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and good multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Detailed knowledge of ISO processes and interaction with external bodies (such asISOQAR), including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001management system standards, compliance, and auditing techniques, with three years plus experience of lead auditor exposure (or equivalent)
  • Qualified to Lead Auditor status in multiple management systems
  • Point of Contact for ISO/Quality related internal third-party audits.
