Your new role as Assistant Accountant:This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a small but effective finance function. Working in a dynamic environment, this hands-on role will work alongside friendly, but ambitious professionals who are supported by a fantastic senior leadership team.As Assistant Accountant you will report to the Financial Controller in a hands-on accounting role. A newly established position for the business, you will also work closely with a Management Accountant and support all aspects of financial administration ina fast paced environment. No day will be the same, with duties of a varied nature, a full time role this position is available due to growth. Main role duties: Purchase Ledger management, with responsibility for the ledger of 2 business units Sales Ledger Management Weekly bank/credit card reconciliations Processing of payment runs across multiple bank accounts Processing and paying expenses Credit control including query resolve Processing intercompany recharges Cashflow management Developing process and procedure to streamline the department Other ad hoc accounts duties as requestedA truly diverse role, this will suit a hands-on Accounts Assistant who is able to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:To be considered you shall have a solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping with a proven track record of managing a multitude of tasks in a fast paced environment. A forward thinker and able to identify anomalies through your finance knowledge, you shallhave a keen eye for the detail and be able to work at pace. A fast learner, you shall have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills and be motivated, hard-working and punctual. With good excel skills you shall also be a progressive individualwho is keen to learn and hoping to add value in a workplace where staff enjoy their job and work together in a truly team based environment.
