Job Description

Social Media Executive needed for a leading beauty company based within Central London. As the Social Media Assistant you will work closely within the brand team to execute the social media communication with the aim of boosting their visibility and increasing customer engagement.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shoot bespoke iPhone native content, including short- and long-form video for all Social Media channels, collaborating with Studio Team on setup and storyboards / mood boards.
  • Edit video content optimized for Social Media formats and channels - including Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube.
  • Manage and grow Tik Tok channel autonomously, working closely with Social Media Manager and Head of Content to strategise compelling content for the channel.
  • Schedule content to social media channels including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tik Tok and any emerging platforms via Curalate and / or native platforms.
  • Organise and direct iPhone native shoots, leading with brand content franchises and collaborating with Social Media Manager and Studio team in execution and alignment of visual and tonal messaging.
  • Communicate information from wider department and external meetings to ensure all social comms are in line with business.
  • Work with Social Media Manager and Customer Care Team on community management of all channels.
  • Utilise Social Media listening to inform content and work reactively to shoot and plan new content into the Social Media calendar.
  • Deliver Social Media led campaigns which support and positively impact the business growth, including existing annual campaigns. Ensure these campaigns and all social activities are supported 360 across all business communications channels.
  • Lead in innovation, staying ahead of digital technologies and trends; implementing reactive campaigns utilising new developments when appropriate.
  • As a social media native, contribute to content ideas meetings with strong, engaging ideas at weekly Content meetings.
  • Be the go-to social expert for the business; stay abreast of competitor, beauty and brand activity, reporting back to business on all social developments and advising on new brands / trends to inform Commercial and marketing directions.
  • Skills / Qualifications:
  • Social media native with experience with scheduling and analytic tools.
  • Video and image editing via Adobe suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience in Instagram and Tik Tok content production.
  • A good understanding of and passion for the beauty industry.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • A strong understanding of the commercial link to social media.
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Google Analytics.
