Job Description

Organisation DescriptionReed Property & Construction are a division of Reed Specialist Recruitment, specialising in the recruitment of trades and technical personnel within the construction sector.Job Description

  • Our team of consultants require a dedicated administrator / resourcer with skills in payroll, administration, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a keen eye for detail.
  • The role will cover a team of consultants working with contract labour, temporary workers and permanent workers.
  • Administration Duties
  • Your duties will be to input hours from timesheets on to our bespoke system, ensure all contractors working are paid correctly and efficiently. Coordinate holiday pay for contract workers and liaise with both contractors, clients and Umbrella companies to ensure smooth and effective payments on a weekly basis.
  • The role will also cover sending out contracts, ensuring AWR (Agency Worker Regulations) are adhered to, regular auditing of workers to ensure compliance to policy and taking references.
  • Ensuring candidates have all relevant documents and are ‘entitled to work’
  • Resourcer Duties
  • To source candidates for all markets by a variety of means including existing database searches, re-registration of self suited, on hold or pending candidates
  • Database searches on reed.co.uk and other recruitment databases
  • Saved searches on reed.co.uk
  • Mapping out of clients
  • Production of local headhunt lists
  • Ensuring candidates have all relevant documents and are ‘entitled to work
  • The position is a highly valued part of the team and it essential that total attention to detail is maintained.Person Specification
  • Communication – Excellent telephone manner. Questions and listens to understand the needs of Candidates and colleagues
  • Negotiation – Ability to maintain control in a discussion by being assertive without displaying aggression in order to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome
  • Business Expertise – Commercially aware of local market conditions (in terms of vertical &/or geographic markets) and uses this knowledge to make business gains
  • Work Management – An eye for detail with the ability to effectively prioritise, organise tasks and manage time.
  • Good administrative skills
