Job Description

Our client, a global Jazz music distributor is seeking a highly detail orientated Digital and Data Optimiser to manage their repertoire.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing empirical testing within music streaming data.
  • Recording accurately data, aggregating and maintaining it to the highest standard.
  • Curating and describing repertoire based on qualities such as genre, tempo and mood.
  • Assisting the exposure of asset availability across business partners.
  • Monitoring pirate activity and working with other departments to ensure revenue claiming.
  • Presenting and reporting your findings to the wider department.
  • Other ad hoc projects as required.
    • Requirements:
  • Experience in music, streaming, e-commerce, technology, data or mathematics.
  • Comfortable in music streaming tech and services, as well as use voice command services.
  • Knowledge of jazz and good working knowledge of classical music.
  • Able to identify music qualities like tempo and genre.
  • Capable of maintaining focus for long periods of time.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviour patterns.
  • Advanced Excel skills, comfortable recording, using and maintaining large quantities of data.
  • Confident in building international relationships with jazz as the foundation.
  • Fast worker, able to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly flexible approach, able to change priorities as required.
