Job Description

The Company:

  • The Role:
  • Mixture of new business development and account management.
  • Will be selling a comprehensive portfolio of medical devices and consumable products including, suction liners, catheters, cardiology consumables, stents, wound drainage vacuums, ENT suction products etc.
  • You will be liaising with and selling to a wide range of hospital departments including theatre managers, sisters, nurses, procurement, neonatal departments, ITU/CCU/ICU, material management departments, EBME .
  • You will be tasked to visit around 2 hospitals a day but will have multiple access to multiple departments within the hospitals.
  • You will spend time in theatre, A&E, ITU and wards.
  • Covering South Central from Southampton, Portsmouth, Brighton, up to Oxford.
  • £30k-£40k basic, OTE £20k-45k bonus (£20k realistic in 1st year), £550 Car allowance, phone, laptop, 25 days holiday, 4 x life, pension, Healthcare Insurance.
  • The Ideal Person:

  • Ideally you will have a life science degree and be a sports person…..looking for someone competitive but not essential.
  • 6 years minimum B2B sales experience, someone who’s done some cold calling and self-generated business
  • Someone that is used to a competitive, fast moving role.
  • It’s not a hard-sell, cold call every day but it is engaging with new points of contact, multiple stakeholders across a wide range of hospital departments.
  • Must be commercially astute and know how to open and close business and have a willingness to learn.
