Our client is a growing presence in the freight forwarding world and looking to add a Transport Administrator to their Road Freight team based in Castleford. As Transport Administrator you will provide additional support to their customers from initial booking until end of delivery. Our client is open to candidate experience and is willing to train someone with the right background and attitude to learn.The role will focus on supporting the Forwarding Manager; engaging with customers on update of shipments and completing the relevant documentation including customs related documentation. The role will focus on UK and International shipments for both import and export. The role will include a number of administrative duties; and the right person must be comfortable working on systems and Microsoft packages. Ideally the person would have some experience in import, export, customs or freight but our client would be happy to train someone from a similar environment such as Transport or Logistics. The right person will need to be able to work under pressure; have good administrative skills and able to communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers. On offer is a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience along with the opportunity for a team based bonus. The company can offer an excellent working environment with a fixed working schedule of Monday - Friday; 8.30am - 5pm. Required skills
