Elevation Recruitment are excited to share their partnership with ITW to recruit a Technical Manager who will be accountable for a diverse product portfolio. This position will predominantly be based out of their site in Leeds, West Yorkshire but haveresponsibility for business units in multiple locations.ITW are a Fortune 200 company, employing c45,000 people worldwide and have a Group Turnover of c$14 billion. This role will manage 5 business units including the manufacturing of wipes, aerosols, sprays, hand gels, lubricants, greases, oils, paints and coatingsfor a wide range of industry sectors.Reporting into the Operations Director and working with the divisional leadership team, the Technical Manager will create the technology roadmap to exploit the opportunities for technical development. The Technical Manager will be responsible for the line managementof a cross functional team including NPD, Laboratory, QC and Compliance. The business are very focussed on adding value to the customer, so you will have responsibility to ensure delivery and product functionality and will continue to drive a customer-centricapproach through the team. The portfolio is high mix and subsequently works to a large variety of systems and standards and you will ensure the business remains compliant. The role will have autonomy to manage the technical function and it really encouragessomeone who is entrepreneurial, innovative, collaborative and passionate who wants to take on an exciting challenge in a highly successful business.
