Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will be supporting the retail team in delivering their Retail objectives and strategic initiatives and improving the consistency of merchandising, trading activity and customer service.You will have key relationships with other departments across HARIBO, internal and external retail stakeholders and external suppliers.One of our core values is ‘Childlike Happiness’ so be prepared to have some fun along the way! Our mix that awaits you:Some of the key accountabilities and responsibilities of the role are;
  • Set up and maintenance of all back office operations, including users, price lists and promotions
  • Purchasing and inventory management of all retail consumable items
  • First contact for all customer service requests
  • Management of all statutory testing, maintenance and H&S requirements; accurate record keeping
  • Coordination of all marketing and point of sale material – supporting the in-store activity plan
  • Sales data and stock forecasting analysis where required
  • Communication and production of briefs/direction to the store teams
  • Creation and distribution of reports for store teams
  • Support for ongoing retail projects, for example the development of new locations for HARIBO stores
  • Organisational support for all retail meetings

  • MS Office and Excel skills
  • Stakeholder management, building effective relationships
  • Highly organised
  • Time management and prioritisation planning
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Can drive own projects forward and work under own initiative
  • Data analysis skills
  • Retail operations experience at head office or in a store (2 years+)
  • Previous commercial experience
Hours of Work:This role is 38 hours a week on a Hybrid basis based at our Castleford site, however, occasional travel to our stores will be required.REF-210042
