JOB PURPOSE Guide the garment technical and personalisation team through the development and industrialisation process to ensure styles align with Design, Product Development, and production requirements. Maintain focus onmethod, construction, cost, machinery, and quality, achieving 100% on-time delivery at each stage. Join us in this pivotal role! RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the Garment Technical team, including bespoke and personalisation.
  • Deliver new seasonal developments aligned with business Critical Path requirements.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Product Engineering teams on product development strategies.
  • Assess design risks and propose solutions through the risk assessment process.
  • Guide the team through Proto, SRS, & PP processes, attending fit meetings in London when required.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of Technical Specification Packs and detailed SOP guidelines.
  • Oversee sample reviews with the Pattern team, providing authorisation for bulk production.
  • Travel and work flexibly based on business/seasonal demands.
  • Effectively communicate new style launches to Castleford technical development & relevant teams.
  • Support the Production & Industrialisation team to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to create productionable and cost-effective methods.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • 3 + years working experience in similar role
  • University Degree in Textiles/Fashion with garment industry experience
  • Rainwear and outwear experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead a team, with management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and fit.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Adobe & Office Suite.
