Clear Automotive is a specialist recruitment consultancy in the Accident Repair, Bodyshop and Automotive sector, partnering with organisations across the UK, to fulfil their staffing requirements, whilst representing Automotive professionals to secure permanentcareers.Bodyshop parts Advisor - We currently have a vacancy for an experienced parts advisor / parts person available within an established accident repair centre on a permanent basis, to manage and update the process of parts and their journeythroughout the bodyshop.You will need to automotive parts advisor / parts person experience to be considered for this position.The Job: Parts Advisor / Motor Parts PersonAs an experienced Parts Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the parts department, the key characteristics of this job role are listed below and must be delivered consistently in line with the business processes:
  • Full stock management, allocating parts into stock and stockroom organisation
  • Accepting Deliveries, booking parts onto the Autoflow management system
  • Chasing parts orders, back orders, getting updates and sending feedback to the shop floor
  • Deal with returned parts awaiting credit - sending proof of returns to dealers, booking on of credit notes onto the jobs & scanning and attaching to the job, scanning over of copies to purchase ledge
  • Live updates of communications and orders on management systems
  • Acting on queries from suppliers & sites
  • Assisting with telephone answering and queries from suppliers & sites
  • Assisting with supplier reports and feeding information back to supplier
  • Return cost awaiting credit chasing of return notes - sending proof of returns to dealers, booking on of credit notes onto the jobs & scanning and attaching to the job, scanning over of copies to purchase ledge
  • On-going training and development
As a successful parts person / parts Advisor you must be able to:
  • As part of an integral team, you must ensure that parts are ordered correctly and available whilst the vehicle repair process is being carried out
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision;
  • Ensure that parts returns are done within the required time scales and all credit notes are chased
  • Communications skills are paramount to your role, as it has a direct impact on production on the site
Job experience: Parts Person
  • You will be experienced working within the automotive sector or have some automotive parts advisor experience
  • Immediate start available
