Job Description

We are recruiting an Operations Manager for a prestigious holiday park group. The role will be based in Lincolnshire and will require a flexible individual with excellent management and IT experience to manage the departments on park and to ensure thatall systems in place are efficiently run to allow each department to excel and maintain the excellent standards for our owners and guests. Responsibilities * To be directly responsible for the Reception and Reservations team on park* Issuing arrival and departure lists to the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring an effective cleaning operation is provided and standards attained by regular spot checks* Ensuring all safety aspects on the caravans are completed to a high standard and that any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently* Coordinate and manage activity across all work-streams* Conception - define the service offering to guests* System - map system requirements and engage with the wider team to deliver* Being a quick thinker and able to make decisions based on the needs of the business and the goals set by the Managing Director.Requirements The successful candidate will have plenty of holiday park experience and in particular the operational side of the business. The position will require:* A good understanding of various departments such as leisure, complex, grounds, maintenance and the administration. * A confident knowledge of health and safety and HR procedures as the role includes ensuring all employees and park areas comply with all health & safety regulations.* Excellent IT skills with sound knowledge of reservations systems* Able to work alongside the Managing Director/Owners on a day-to-day basis, leading the reception and administration team whilst supporting department heads.* The ability to communicate with and influence teams across the business* A strong customer service focus* Organised and systematic approach* Being a quick thinker and able to make decisions based on the needs of the business and the goals set by the Managing Director.This is a rare and rewarding hands on role for someone who has previous park experience and wants to take the next step up to Operations Management.
