Job Description

Maths Teacher - CastlefordProspero West Yorkshire are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher, to join a school based in Castleford. It is a full time role.You must be a committed individual, who will want to attain the highest standards in learning throughout the role. You will need to be collaborative, driven and have the ability to work well with the Teaching Assistants on the delivery of the subject andcurriculum.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Castleford
  • Position - Teacher
  • Subject - Maths
  • Start date - November
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Until the end of Term (May likely be exteneded past this point)
  • Full time/part time - Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £140 per day
  • Hours - 8:00am - 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional/child related references
OTHERRate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
