Job Description

The OpportunityDue to a recent internal promotion, there is a vacancy within the HR Operations team for a passionate and inspirational HR Advisor.

  • Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, the HR Advisor will be part of an existingteam of HR Advisors, and will offer customer-centric, practical advice to stakeholders on all personnel matters such as recruitment, employee relations, succession planningand development needs.
  • The HR Advisor will support and coach the Regional Managers on all people related activity and will aim to build proactive and positive relationships to ensure issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
  • There is a great opportunity to improve management capability through ongoing training and coaching opportunities.
  • This role will be based from the Castleford site with hybrid working arrangements.
The PersonThe ideal candidate will –
  • Have significant HR generalist experience ideally gained in a large, complex organisation advisory role.
  • Have a strong background in ER and the full employee lifecycle.
  • Experience of working across multiple sites.
  • Have the ability to build relationships and influence across different levels of seniority and specialisms.
  • Be highly organized and be able to react to changing demands and priorities.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Full clean driving licence and must be willing to travel within the operational areas of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and the North East.
  • Experience or at least an understanding of implementing change within an organisation.
