Are you looking for part time or ad hoc weekend workIf so we have an excellent opportunity for Class 2 drivers to work a regular Saturday/Sunday or both working for a market leading and rapidly expanding parcel delivery business in Normanton, near Wakefield. #LGV2, #HGV2, #C, #LGV 2, #HGV 2, #CLASS 2 DRIVERS WELCOME IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLEStart times 05:00 or 06:00 NEW SUNDAY RATE of £17.30 p/hYour Time at WorkAs a Class 2 HGV Driver you will report in to our Shift Manager, who will assign you the route and vehicle you will work with across that shift. The loads you will be transporting are not individually heavy but you will be transporting up to 20,000 items ata time between depots, so we need drivers who understand the importance of standards and keeping our customers happy. Great communication skills are necessary as one of our Drivers as we understand that delays can happen on our roads through circumstancesbeyond your control, road accidents, over-running repairs, the M1 and the M62 being the M1 and the M62. If you as one of our Drivers communicate those delays to us we can plan around them and make sure that you get the support you need through optimised routeplanning, sat navs and other tools. In return for your commitment we can offer guaranteed regular weekend work. Additional shifts available during the week if you would like more work. Our Perfect WorkerAs a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will ideally have: - 12 months HGV driving experience - No more than 6 points - Digi card and DQC Immediate starts available. All inductions and training are fully paid.
