Calling all Yorkshire-based Mechanical Engineering Graduates. Join this growing business as a design / project engineer with varied duties and the opportunity to learn on the job.This Harrogate based business provides a range of combustion and heat transfer equipment to a worldwide customer base in the oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, pharmaceutical, food, tobacco and defence industries. Their products include indirect and directfired process heaters, thermal oxidisers, vaporisers, firefighting training systems, control systems and fuel skid packages including pipework & instrumentation. They provide a complete service including conceptual studies through detailed design, fabrication,installation, commissioning and a comprehensive after-sales service. They recently celebrated 30 years in business and employ 18 people.They are now seeking a graduate to contribute key skills into the company in terms of mechanical design, CAD drawing work and project work.This is an opportunity to develop as a mechanical engineer within a high quality UK engineering company. The role will be varied and you will gain experience across all our functions, including mechanical design and CAD drawing work, welding, NDT, project work,specifications, purchasing, cost control, project planning, customer liaison, quality, and site work, including installation support.You will develop mechanical designs, and carry out drawing work and general project work. You will work on existing projects, including learning about client specifications, and internal and external standards. Beyond this, there may also be an opportunityto work on development projects and to get site experience. Applicants will be graduates in a Mechanical Engineering discipline with proven experience of Mechanical design and CAD drawing gained from university project work or relevant experience.
