Job Description

Adeccos specialist Property Services & Building Safety Division are working with a West Yorkshire Housing Association to assist them in recruiting a Graduate Surveyor within the Commercial Property Management section, on a permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity to build the foundations for MRICS Assessment of Professional Competence.The RoleYou will be working as part of a small team of experienced surveyors to:

  • undertake day to day property management of our mixed use portfolio with a focus on the retail element;
  • undertake all types of land and property valuations;
  • assist in producing all types of property and land valuations such as, but not limited to, new lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, disposals and internal purposes;
  • undertake property inspections, obtaining quotes and instructing internal land external contractors to undertake the necessary work;
  • undertake inspections and measurement of property in accordance with the RICS Code of Measuring Practice/IPMS;
  • preparation of heads of terms and conduct straightforward negotiations for acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, tenancies and easements;
  • process other general enquiries the commercial team deal with including work with easements, wayleaves and the disposal and letting of land and buildings;
  • manage relationships with clients, external contacts in the local property market;
  • represent the business in a professional and courteous manner at all times; and
  • undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as requested by management.
