Job Description

Design & Technology Teacher (DT) required!Maze Recruitment Group (MRG) are working with a client school in Castleford who are looking to recruit an experienced Design and Technology (DT) Teacher.As a Design & Technology (DT) Teacher you will be working with pupils from KS3 - KS4. Our client school is looking for a candidate who can teach the following:

  • Textiles
  • Food Technology
  • Product Design
As a Design & Technology (DT) Teacher, you will be responsible for the full teaching role including, planning, preparation, delivering lessons and marking.Our client school is looking for the right person to start in September 2023, working Monday to Friday.Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Experience teaching and planning Textiles,Food Technology and/or Product Design lessons.
  • An excellent classroom teacher who values and aims to ensure all young people receive the best education, in a supportive environment.
  • Available 5 days a week on an ongoing basis
  • Available to start this assignment in September 2023
  • Excellent classroom management
Working with MRG
  • We have been working with schools in West and South Yorkshire for 20 years. We work directly with a lot of headteachers and trusts due to our long-standing relationships.
