Credit Controller - Castleford - £25k - £26k per annum plus bonus (OTE - £32k+)Job Purpose:To support the Credit Control Team with a range of activities that ultimately improves business cash collection performance and profitability. To minimise bad debt and increase cash flow within the business.CICM Study package includedMain Duties:Manage own ledger ensuring that cash collection is made within customer payment termsTo actively drive the reduction in invoice queries within the wider businessComplete the 120 Day Debtors Reports for the business on a monthly basis, ensuring these numbers reduceTo highlight any issues to the Credit Manager that may impact cash collectionPrepare monthly ledger reports, detailing any reasons for variancesRecording all necessary info on the daily cash sheetsSkills and Qualifications Required:Minimum 2 years Credit Control experienceMCICM part or fully qualified (desirable)Excellent Excel skillsA resilient, proactive hands-on individual with strong results orientation, capable of focusing on both immediate needs and longer term system reporting improvementsStrong personal organisation skillsProven query resolution and problem solving skillsAbility to build strong relationshipsKeywords - credit control, payments, collections, accounts, MCICM, Excel, cash collection, collection, payment terms, ledger, ledger reports, cash sheets, debt control, bad debt, Castleford
