Interim Finance Officer - BirminghamDo you thrive from working in a busy environment Do you have a flexible, enthusiastic approach to teamwork and the ability prioritise and problem solveOur well-established client is looking to hire a proactive and organised Finance Officer to join their team in Birmingham. You will be assisting in the provision of financial accounting services and to provide general administrative support to the Finance team.Contract Duration: Temporary - End of December with high possibility of extension.Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)Salary: £10ph - £11phStart Date: ImmediateKey responsibilities will include: Records details of cheques received and prepares them for banking Deal with rent queries and the processing of adjustments to rent accounts, raising of rent and refunds. Ensures that all purchase ledger transactions are properly coded and posted in a timely fashion. Work with other teams to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time. Prepare weekly payment run (Cheque and BACS) Maintain and review purchase order records through the P2P system and match purchase orders to invoices. Prepare rent adjustment reconciliations Maintains the Associations sales ledger, ensuring that all appropriate invoices are raised. Credit Control of sales ledger Maintaining the Associations cash books, ensuring that all transactions are correctly coded, and ensures that monthly reconciliations are carried out between the cash books, bank statements and the nominal ledger.About you: AAT Qualified / Equivalent Experience maintaining cashbooks Immediately Available Experience within / In a similar roleBenefits: Hybrid working1 day a week from home Equipment provided Free parking on siteIf you feel like you are suitable, please apply directly to this ad for an immediate response.
