Trunk Driver

  • Salary:£24,960 plus £450 bonus
Company backgroundSuperbike factory was founded in 2010 and today via its principal brands of SuperbikeFactory.co.uk, Wewantyourmotorbike.com, Webuyanybike.com and Superbike Loans is the largest retailer of used motor bikes in Europe. Superbikes is a digital first businessoffering the only true end to end online consumer experience in the sector. Sales turnover has grown rapidly year on year by over 40%, and is expected to continue. Employing over 300 people currently; we now have five sites including a master production sitein Macclesfield, and a retail experience site at the iconic Donington Race track; with an additional siteplanned in the South in the Spring of 2023 taking it to 6.Backed by one of the most successful private equity houses in Europe, this is an exciting time to join an organisation at the start of a transformational period of growth.You dont have to love motorbikes to work here, although many of our team have turned their passion into their career!Responsibilities as our Trunk Driver will include:- Visiting various locations across the UK- Ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed- Manoeuvring the bikes onto the ramp and into the van / trailers and securing safely into position- Returning to variousdepots- Occasional overnight stays may be requiredWhat were looking for in our Trunk Driver:- You will have a genuine interest and passion for motorcycles- You will have a flexible attitude to work- You will be customer focused, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile- Be self-motivated, target driven & results orientated- Have good time keeping skills- Be confident in your own ability and driving/working on your own.Professional Skills & Qualifications:Tacho Card &experience in pulling a trailer is essential.- Full Motorcycle Licence- Full manual UK Driving Licence with no serious driving convictions- 2 years driving experience- Experience of driving a long wheel-based van- As a driver you are required to be flexible with the shift patterns- Comfortable manoeuvring heavy bikes on and off ramps to the vansIn return, our Trunk Driver will receive the following benefits:- Competitive Salary, plus commission
