Job Description

This global dynamic parts supplier to the Aerospace industry, also covering the military sector, is looking for an experience Quality and Safety Manager, who is a Form 4 holder to join them at their new site near Derby.*Free parking, close to M1 and A50 corridors, canteen, 5% pension, introductory training to the company and uniform provided*You will be responsible for maintaining Quality and Management Systems that complies with UK CAA and EASA Part 145 regulations.Responsibilities include:

  • Establishment of an independent quality and safety assurance management system for the monitoring of compliance by TP Aerospace Technics UK Ltd against UK CAA and EASA Part 145 requirements.
  • Development and management of company policies, procedures, Maintenance Organisation Expositions (MOEs) and all other relevant documentation that demonstrate compliance against UK CAA and EASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Development and implementation of an independent quality and safety audit program whereby the compliance of all maintenance activities in relation to each aeronautical product type maintained is reviewed at regular intervals against UK CAA and the EASAPart 145 Regulations (and is to include the management and completion of independent internal and external audits).
  • Development and management of staff induction, staff training plan, competency assessment program and company authorisation management system to ensure personnel compliances against UK CAA and EASA regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison with UK CAA and EASA on all matters pertaining to the continuation of the TP Aerospace Technics Part 145 Approval including the submission of the MOE and any associated revisions (which includes the completion of and submission of UK CAA/EASAForm(s) 2, Form(s) 4 or equivalent).
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • The Manager Quality and Safety is to be acceptable to UK CAA and EASA via the Form 4 process and is expected, as a minimum, to have held an equivalent appropriate position under UK CAA/EASA Part 145.
  • At least 2 years experience in Part 145 Quality Management.
  • Shall possess formal qualifications in Management and Quality Auditing.
  • Shall possess Lead Auditor
