Management Accountant, 6 months FTC, East Midlands Airport DE74 Hybrid roleThis is your opportunity to work for a growing private charter airline who are looking for a management accountant to help with a 6 month fixed term contract.Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and meaningful financial information to support the growth of the business.You will work closely with the FC and the management team to develop their understanding of financial issues and provide effective support for decision making.This role would suit someone who is part qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified / QBE and knowledge of Sage 200 would be ideal but not mandatory and comfortable around using Office 365 suite, Excel in particular.So, as the Management Accountant what will you be doing Supporting the Assistant Accountant to produce Weekly Performance and Ad Hoc Charter Profitability* Production of Monthly Management Accounts & Performance KPIs.* Challenging the functional heads on performance.* Month end close routines including* Quarterly VAT* Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance* Fixed assets including depreciation, additions and disposals* Reconciliation of the engineering stock system to financials* Assist with Annual Audit process* Ad hoc business and process system improvement projects* Supporting the Assistant Accountant with month end processing dutiesIf you would like to be considered, please apply now
