HR OfficerCastle Donington, DerbyshireAbout UsEstablished in 2010, Medstrom are a market leading provider of medical devices services to the NHS and other caregiving facilities with a strong reputation for providing a reliable, dedicated and trusted service to our partners.As an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), we have independence in the market which is unlike any other company in the industry and through continued growth we can offer great opportunities for you to develop with our business, which we call the "Medstrom family".We’re looking for a dedicated HR Officer to join our small, but friendly HR team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Head Office in Castle Donington.The Benefits- Competitive annual salary up to £27,000 depending on experience- Annual bonus potential of up to 8%- Contributory pension scheme- 33 days’ holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays- Discounts and cashback on shopping, supermarkets, and holidays as part of our rewards scheme- Free on-site gym for all office employees- Salary Sacrifice Schemes including Cycle to Work- Full Induction with great training and support- Receive a treat on your birthday- Be a part of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) and the associated benefits of having a stake in the companyThe RoleAs our HR Officer, you will provide comprehensive guidance and support to the business, managing day to day HR duties and projects as required.You will provide efficient and timely support to all colleagues within the business, update internal HR systems, create reports and support monthly/weekly HR analytics.You will help to:- Provide advice and support to line managers on HR issues- Compile relevant letters, reports, and emails on HR matters- Support onboarding processes, inductions and probation periods- Support the review of HR policies and procedures- Handle day to day queries that come in to the team- Create content for HR initiatives- Be involved in collating and administering payroll- Handle disciplinaries and grievance meetings- Attend HR related meetings and record detailsWorking hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (we can be flexible to fit around travel).About YouTo be considered as an HR Officer, you will need:- Solid experience of an HR environment with good generalist HR knowledge- CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential- Management and experience of payroll systems and processes would be desirable- Excellent administration and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work- Proven experience in investigations, disciplinaries and grievance meetings- Personable, presentable and articulate- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn new systems quickly- Flexibility and the willingness to do what’s required and support the team and travel to other sites if required- High attention to detail- The ability to communicate to internal and external customers, both verbally and writtenWebrecruit and Medstrom are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
