Data Analyst - PermanentCastle Donington DE74 2HL Salary Negotiable. They pride themselves on being an efficient, dynamic company setting trends for others to follow.Purpose of the Data Analyst role:Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to sit within the Buying and Marketing department, working closely with the sales and commercial team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving our growth objectives by equipping our sales force with actionabledata insights and strategies. Main duties and responsibilities of the Data Analyst:. Champion the category plans and growth campaigns, driving market share, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. . Harness your analytical prowess to provide the Sales team with critical insights into market trends and customer behaviours, shaping product and category strategies. . Identify and rejuvenate underperforming product lines through detailed analysis and strategic pricing. . Collaborate across functions, including Buying, Sales, and external partners, to synchronise efforts and maximise impact. . Utilise analytics to unearth new growth avenues for the business. . Analyse sales data to spot trends and opportunities that yield positive business outcomes. . Create and maintain a suite of standard documents and templates for reporting, marketing, and sales performance assessments. . Deliver clear, concise, and impactful reports and communications. Experience/knowledge requirements for the Data Analyst role:. A master of organisation and time management, thriving in fast-paced environments. . A problem-solver with a keen eye for detail. . An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal abilities. . An analytical thinker who can work collaboratively to propose innovative solutions. . Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with the capability to develop, interpret, and communicate complex analyses. .
