Job Description

Inspire the little learners of Harris Junior Academy Carshalton. We are currently looking to appoint a PE Coach to join our thriving academy.Your opportunityYour role will be to teach primary-age children the PE curriculum, including dance and gymnastics. You will plan, prepare, deliver and assess a range of CPD lessons, PPA cover, extra-curricular club sessions and other related programmes, all designed to enhance the schools PE and Sporting culture.As part of Harris, you will join a community of staff dedicated to transforming education in London. The successful candidate will:

  • Hold qualifications to GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Be UKCC Level 2 Qualified (or higher) in any sport or appropriate equivalent qualification
  • Be a qualified HLTA
  • Have experience of delivering sport coaching sessions to young people aged between 5 and 11 in a school environment

We are a three-form entry school situated in Carshalton, which is part of the London Borough of Sutton.
