Cruise Ship Youth WorkerChristmas seasonal roleReed are delighted to be the recruitment partner of an international cruise line who are seeking education specialists to join their Youth Team on board as Seasonal Staff.Initially for the Christmas period 2022, departing on 16th December, there are opportunities available for individuals looking to work with Early Years, Primary or Secondary age students.An exciting opportunity for educational professionals, you will be spending the festive season aboard a cruise ship as it explores warmer climates and gives holiday makers an experience they wont forget. Working within the Youth Team, you will be instrumentalin helping to ensure that children on board have a fun and safe environment to enjoy their holiday.You will receive: A competitive salary of £1,875 per month when working as Seasonal staff Travel to the ship from anywhere in the UK, with departures worldwide. UK departures leave Southampton, with international ports including Barbados, USA, Australia and New Zealand Accommodation on board, and all meals included (with the exception of alcohol, which can be purchased from the onboard crew bar when not on shift) The opportunity to travel to fabulous winter sun destinationsand with both outbound and return flight times flexible, you will have the chance to stay on in your destination or arrive prior to the ships departure to take in the sights, with only yourown accommodation to organise The opportunity to return for further seasonal workwhich is typically during school holidays such as Easter or the school summer holidaysDuties will include: Working on a shift basis whilst at sea, which is between 3-4 weeks Being part of a fun and engaging team to plan and deliver activities as part of the appropriate youth group Sessions are based upon childrens age, and cater for either Nursery, Primary or Secondary age children, and you will be working with those where your experience best relates Respond to the needs of individual children, and adapt accordingly to help create excitement and interest Primarily based in the dedicated Youth Facility, but also with some opportunity to work elsewhere on the ship Ensuring that safeguarding policies and on board emergency procedures are adhered to at all timesThis opportunity would suit: An individual who would take pride in making childrens holidays an exciting and fun adventure An experienced education professionaleither Teacher, HLTA or Teaching Assistant.
