Would you like to make a difference to a young persons life Do you feel passionate about positively contributing to changing the pathway a young person leaving care may followIf so, a young persons project (16-25 years), is seeking a Support Worker to work one to one with clients, offering a range of services, including advice, support and information a small caseload of young adults with complex and challenging support needs.As a support worker, you will focus on developing strong, trusting relationships with young people focusing on the development of independent living skills, tenancy management, accessing training and employment opportunities, managing family breakdown, promotingparticipation within the service and community engagement.You will also link clients in with a variety of services, accompany them to appointments and acting as an advocate for the young people in order to negotiate solutions that meet their specific needs.You will benefit for working for a long-standing manager and a leading Housing Association in South Wales.
