Job Description

  1. Assist in Classroom Activities: Collaborate with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  2. Language Support: Provide linguistic support for Welsh-speaking students to enhance their understanding and participation.
  3. One-on-One Assistance: Offer personalised assistance to students who may require additional support in their studies.
  4. Behavioural Support: Promote positive behaviour and implement strategies to address any challenges that may arise.
  5. Resource Management: Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources.
  6. Communication: Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Requirements:
  1. Fluency in Welsh: Proficient in both written and spoken Welsh to facilitate effective communication.
  2. Educational Background: A relevant qualification in education or related field is desirable.
  3. Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
  4. Passion for Education: A genuine passion for helping students succeed and a commitment to their holistic development.
  5. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to various classroom situations and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
  6. Clearance: Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the process.
