Job Description

WelderCardiff£12-14 p/h + overtime Permanent, Full timePurposeAs a time-tested welder you will be involved in the welding of structural and architectural steel projects, working from client specific engineering drawings.ResponsibilitiesAs a welder, your responsibilities will include:

  • MIG/MAG welding
  • Using various tools and machinery
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Following engineering drawings and job specifications
BackgroundThe successful welder will have:
  • Experience within fabrication and MIG welding and mild steel
  • The ability to TIG and MMA weld would be beneficial
  • A good understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
