Warehouse OperativeLocation: Cardiff DocksHours of work: 7am-3pmDays of work: Monday-FridayDuration: OngoingStart date: ASAPDetails of the Warehouse Operative position:* To contribute towards the smooth and effective running of the National Distribution centre through the timely receipt and allocation of Goods in processing* To check accuracy and quality of goods received against delivery notes; accurately inputting the relevant details into the companys WMS system, ensuring data integrity* Putting away of stock and replenishing shelves as required* Assisting in the accurate movement of stock throughout the Warehouse* To restock the picking locations from bulk as required* To fulfil and process warehouse orders as and when required* Contribute towards and achieve Warehouse Key Performance Indicators* Demonstrate the company Values within the business at all timesGoods in Processing:* Checking goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damage paying specific attention to stock condition* Replenishment of stock shelves - forward stock shelves* Inputting delivery notes into the companys WMS system, ensuring detailed and accurate input of data; matching the correct Purchase order details* Promptly identifying and reporting any shortages, picking errors, or damages in stock* Record overstock, label and palletise in the pallet racking locations.* Accurately and securely putting away / moving stock via manual handling, pallet trucks and forklift trucks* Ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded* Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles using pivot steer forklift as required* Participating in cyclical stock checks where required* Processing returnsIf you wish to apply for this position or if you require further information, please contact Katie onGi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
