The Role Job Purpose: To undertake warehouse operations as required by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor, to ensure internal and external customer needs are met Qualifications Required: * Clean driving licence (essential) * Moffett licenceand experience (preferable) Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work within a team and using own initiative * Knowledge of the industry preferred but not essential * PC literate * Microsoft Office skills *Knowledge and experience of warehousing * Working knowledge of H&S legislation * Working knowledge of road transport legislation * Excellent planning and organisational skills Key Results Areas: * Support and assist Health & Safety culture to ensure that bothstaff and customers are free from accidents and that all parties actively endorse a safe and healthy working environment * Ensure individual compliance with the Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action * Pick and load items to fulfil customer orders andensure incoming stock is put away, in an accurate and timely manner * Contribute to the achievement of warehouse Key Performance Indicators to agreed standards, incorporating productivity, pick accuracy and customer service targets * Ensure adherence to SGBDBusiness Control procedures, including implementing PPI procedures * Support and delivery of all Company customer service initiatives * Complete and maintain all due diligence in relation to road transport legislation * Actively maintain hygiene standardswithin warehouse and yard environment * Participate in all branch meetings and support all initiatives/actions resulting * Any other reasonable duties as directed by your Line Manager Key Performance Indicators: * Health & Safety target = 0 * Individual trainingneeds actioned * Customer satisfaction ratio targets * Warehouse KPIs - productivity, fleet management, road traffic legislation
