• Vendor relationship accountability over several internal and external vendor engagements, with a specific focus on driving performance and value from our internal vendors (Deloitte Delivery Partners), who deliver services to Deloitte UK with significantspend
• Takes a key role in developing and managing cost management processes ensuring consistent and adequate governance and controls resulting in the effective monitoring of spend including invoicing and payments managing cost management processes
• Ensures strong vendor management processes are operating successfully while working alongside Subject Matter Experts to ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external standards and policies
• Works closely with our Service Delivery Leads to manage costs of vendor/delivery partners and identifies potential areas of cost savings based on services and the commercial position
• Able to provide in-depth analysis of vendor/delivery partner spend and service levels into strategic insight and actionable plans to improve ROI as well as drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and services
• Drives and cultivates reporting and production of meaningful vendor/delivery partner data
• Works closely with CBS leadership to identify and approve new vendor opportunities
• Drives innovative ideas regarding issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor/delivery partner relationships, vendor/delivery partner contracts and quality assurance and explores new opportunities i.e., new vendors, business models and methods in orderto achieve possible cost reduction initiatives
• Works in close collaboration with compliance, legal and risk management teams to apply and manage the associated vendor/delivery partner risk management principles
• Accountable for commercial and contractual negotiations with vendor/delivery partners
• Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
• Reports to the Senior Manager of Vendor and Delivery Partner Management

• Commercially aware with demonstrable expertise in cost or commercial management including cost reduction and optimisation programs
• Influences the business on commercial and operational decisions to maximise value
• Experience in working closely and managing relationships with vendors / delivery partners within shared services environments and offshore Delivery Centres preferred
• Service delivery experience preferred
• Experience of cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement and high-quality reporting
• Knowledge of outsourced contracts, billing, and vendor framework models
• Experience of working with large multifunctional teams effectively with the ability to drive outstanding client service often through large cross business and/or cross border teams
• Builds long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders and influencers
• Anticipates market and competitor trends to develop and deliver bold and innovative solutions that differentiates their service
• Aligns all key stakeholders and manages the identified governance structures to ensure activities/projects deliver a superior customer experience Provides Subject matter expertise on sector trends and leading practices to add significant value to theirstakeholders
