Job Description

Vehicle Technician / MOT TesterCardiff, CF11£28,348 pa + overtime + bonus, OTE £32,000 - £34,348 paMon - Fri 8:30am to 5pm1-in-4 Sat mornings on rota 8am to 12pmRenault Cardiff seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealerships workshop. The role involves carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs of cars and vans to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.Candidates should have

  • own tools
  • Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQs in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, and
  • a full UK Drivers licence
Candidates should preferably have main dealer workshop experience. Individuals that also have current DVSA Certification for MOT Testing will be prioritised.The core hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm withhr lunch, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8am to 12pm.In return we offer a £28,348 pa basic salary. This comprises £27,400 pa for weekday work + £948 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. Uncapped monthly bonuses are paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.
