You will spend 20% of the working week developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to successfully complete the apprenticeship, withsupport from one of our apprenticeship delivery partners, and the rest of the week youll be applying what you have learnt doing a real job with real responsibilities.From day one youll have a permanent job with a competitive salary. You will receive comprehensive training, support from tutors and a skills coach, whilst at the same time developing the professional and personal skills that you will need to build a successfulcareer with us. This is an 18-24 month programme where you will be with provided with on the job training and study support for an Underwriting apprenticeship and relevant qualifications. . You will be fully supported by PIB Group and our government approvedapprenticeship Training Provider throughout the duration of the programme.Who we look forWe are offering a unique job opportunity within our Q Underwriting Division of PIB Group. The role being offered is an Underwriting Apprenticeship which requires you to be highly driven, eager to learn and develop as well as being self-motivated. This isan exciting time to join our business and the successful candidate can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. We do not require relevant experience; this is an opportunity to start a careerin Underwriting within a market leading company.Your role will involve the underwriting of Taxi Fleet and Truck Fleet policies including accurate quoting and full transparency of new business and renewal premiums in accordance with Company procedures and authority limits. You will be negotiating and relationshipbuilding with existing and new Agents and carrying out general administration business support.Qualifications

• EssentialGCSEs in Maths & English at Grade C/4 or above, or an equivalent qualification
• Desirable3 x A-levels or equivalent (BTEC, T-Level etc)
